Spring/Summer 2013 favorites

Since spring season is finally on, I'd like to share with you guys my top 3 favorite collections from the RTW Spring/Summer 2013.

1. BALMAIN
I love that Olivier Rousteing knows exactly how to play with details in his creations and make them stand out. Taking inspiration from the 90's style - broad-shouldered jackets, bandeaus, high waisted trousers, short dresses and all that. I'm so obsessed with this collection - still can't get over it. Specially the raffia woven and embossed details... man, Rousteing is such a genius!

 2. 3.1 PHILLIP LIM
Like what I said on my Instagram post days ago, this collection is so me. It somehow reminded me how I used to wear dungarees most of the time back in the 90's, my love for plaid and all that tough-girl vibe - not to mention the messy hair look. lol. Lim has been exploring a lot lately with his designs and I'm soooo loving it!

3. KENZO
I have never loved Kenzo this much. Well, it actually started with the tiger face and the Kenzo logo on the sweater. So basically, the love just happened sometime last year - i think. This collection is a bit of everything. Playful, girly, and somehow tough. The plains and prints were combined perfectly and the animal prints are big enough to stand out - bright and neat.
