It was such a great pleasure to witness the luxury fashion house, Ports 1961's Spring/Summer 2014 collection exclusive preview event at the Artis Tree, two Fridays ago. It's almost like being in the front row of a fashion show but actually getting to see every single piece right in front of you with all the photos of its Milan Fashion Week backstage snapshots exhibited on the sides of the hall.
The luxury fashion house's new womenswear collection was inspired by both fields of film and arts, specifically Michaelangelo Antonioni's 1970 film, 'Zabriskie Point'. The menswear collection on the other hand was inspired by Rainer Lagemann's sculptural artworks. The whole collection's definitely timeless and chic - well done, Fiona Cibani and Ian Hylton! Love it!
