Monki AW13 #OOTD Series Part 2

Since I couldn't wait for next week to post the second look for my Monki #OOTDSeries, why not just  do it now? So here it goes...
A trivia about myself (just incase you wanna know one): I don't usually wear skirts. It happens once in a blue moon and this is one of those moments. My excuse?
I don't feel comfy wearing them especially mini skirts 'cause you know, you have to pull it down over and over (admit it ladies, you do it too) and it feels uneasy to move. Maxi skirts on the other hand does feel comfy somehow but they're 'maxi' skirt, they're too long, I'm 5" something and I'm not a huge fan of altering clothes that I buy because I don't want to take the risk of ruining them. I know, that's something I need to work on but hey, I wore a mini skirt on the previous look - that's one step already, right? haha! Don't judge me, I still think skirts look nice and I do want to wear them. The good news for those who has lame skirt issues like me, Monki have the best skirts I've worn so far. You better check 'em out! *wink*

The maxi skirt I'm wearing in this look didn't need any alterations or whatsoever. It's perfect and I love that it has a slit on the side that adds a little spice on the piece. The skirt is already a statement itself so I paired it with a plain grey sweater to keep the look a little laid-back (that's exactly how I wanted to feel about the outfit - nailed it!).
